Meet

Coconut

Coconut's previous owner has the following to say about her: "She loves scratches to her head. You just announce it and she will tilt her head if she wants you to. She likes it best when we are close, will chirp when we are in another room. We trained her to poop in her cage. Only let her out after she has pooped and then she will (mostly) warn us she needs to poop by giving us a little peek a couple of time, you know it's poop because she does it for no other reason. If it’s been awhile we will place her back in her cage and if she poops in there, we let her out again. Sometimes it seems she holds until we place her in the cage just because she knows we will let her out again. She wasn’t been consistent lately because she doesn’t get enough outside time to re-enforce the behavior.

Favorite toys are things she can chew on, like paper nets. She loves head scratches and ‘hand house’, she likes to hang out in your arm crook or inside you hair (I have big hair).

She does step up, and loves to hang out with people. Likes to eat off the corner of your plate during dinner time. She has a play pen that she likes to hang out on, while we watch TV."
