Wait List
Meet
Raven & Misa
*** This bird is currently on our Waitlist and is with their current owner. It may be possible to visit and adopt this bird prior to it being moved to a foster home. Please keep in mind that birds on the Waitlist may not have had a veterinary visit. Their owners may or may not be caring for the bird at EBR minimum standards of care.***
Owner Said: Miss Misa and Miss Raven are a bonded pair of budgies, both six years old. Raven (blue) is short, round, fluffy, and sweet, and Misa (green) is tall, skinny, talkative, and sassy. Raven is very food-motivated and will do just about anything for a millet treat! Misa, on the other hand, loves listening to music and conversation and usually sings along. The two of them have a sisterly bond, sometimes squabbling over food (they need two food bowls in the cage at all times so that they can each have their own eating space), but they also frequently cuddle and play together. They are both hand-tamed. Raven is the most friendly and enjoys pets and perching on shoulders/hands. Misa is a lot more shy (despite her big personality), but she will perch for you with patience, and a bribery of millet treats helps a lot too! The girls are also accustomed to occasional travel by car and environmental changes, so they will be quick to adapt to a new environment. They enjoy play time outside of the cage (especially with a small bird jungle gym or perches in the room) but they view the cage as their "home" so they naturally return to the cage when they are done playing.
