Other comments:  Rosie is part of our Foster-in-Place program and will stay with her current owner until an adopter is found. Here is what her current owner has to say about her -  "Rosie is a rose breasted cockatoo who loves to talk and party.  She is highly interactive with anyone who walks up to her cage. She has many phrases such as "Are you my sweetheart," and "I love you." She is not a screamer and does not desire to be glued to your body. She's the neatest parrot I've ever lived with.

She also loves to fly around our high ceiling home and then lands back at her cage. She does need work with step up. She can do it but then takes off flying. She likes being petted and having those pesky pin feathers groomed.

She loves playing with many toys at once. She loves bells and shredding toys.

She gets bathed by spray bottle and sometimes enjoys it. She is not a feather picker.

Rosie's prior owner passed away several months ago. We don't know her exact age but believe she is between 5 to 10 years old. She was raised with smaller birds around. We've had her about 18 months.

We would be happy to keep Rosie however we plan on becoming gypsies a few months each year and Rosie does not like to travel. She's a homebody.

If you have an active home and lots of visitors and are home a lot she will add an extra level of enjoyment to your family home."
