Other comments: Hi my name is Phoenix…I am a beautiful macaw who is looking for a forever home. I am a good eater and love love love veggies. I also love nuts as a treat which is a perfect way to gain my trust. I do step up but as with most macaws have a stubborn streak and will only do it when I feel like it. Bring out the nuts though and I am sure I can be encouraged to cooperate.

I do like music but don’t dance. I have two left feet. I do talk a bit and say things like Mama. I am not excessively noisy but will call out when I want to be out of  my cage. I am a traveler and will come looking for you in the house if I am craving some human companionship.

When taking a bath in the sink or drinking out of a water bottle I can be pretty goofy. Bathing, snuggling and swinging are my favorite activities.

Kids are not something I am a fan of so preferably a home with all adults. I get along well with both men and women.
