Other comments: Wonder is a really special bird who deserves a home with people who are looking for someone to be an important member of the family.  He is the definition of velcro bird and he thrives on attention. He is a loving little guy who is great with kids, is gentle, and a wonderful companion. He enjoys chewing his block toys, snuggling under blankets, and sitting with his owners in the morning watching tv. When he's content he makes quiet little chicken clucks and when he's really happy he purrs in your ear.  

 

Wonder is also good at spending time in his cage during the day while his family is at work/school, but be aware that Sun Conures (he's actually a Sun-Jenday mix) have the second loudest call behind Macaws and Wonder is no exception. When he wants to be with his people or when he just feels like talking he will call loudly.  He's a young guy (about 5 years old) so he is also constantly on the move.  

 

He has lived with a dog, and will get used to them, but he gets very upset by indoor roughhousing. 

 

His owner reluctantly had to give Wonder up due to a significant health issue.  He was clearly loved and well cared for.
